ABOUT THE DUO

The Jacksonville Flute Duo is more than just a musical ensemble; it is the culmination of a lifelong passion for high-quality performance. Founded by Charity Haney and Bethany Atwell, the duo brings a combined 40 years of professional experience to the stage, offering a rare level of polish and versatility.

Meet the Duo

Charity Haney

Charity is a 21-year retired U.S. Navy musician where she performed in and conducted ensembles for high level government and local officials, senior citizen centers, schools, universities, and numerous community relations gigs that are far too numerous to list.

Bethany Atwell

Bethany Atwell performs regularly on both flute and piccolo around Jacksonville, and is also a member of the First Coast Wind Symphony. Previously, she was the Music Director of the Tallahassee Flute Club and the piccoloist for the Tallahassee Winds. Bethany received her Masters degree from Florida State University and her Bachelors degree from Wheaton College.
